Thread: How do I cancel my account?

I find nothing under 'my account' that will allow me to do this. I'm guessing I have to call the Account and billing dept? Maybe they intentionally make it hard to cancel the account so lazy people will keep it active.

I'm not on my PC with SWG on it, so no launchpad. You can edit everything else on your account through this website, so I don't see why you can't cancel here. Oh well. Catch 'yall on FFXI.

Lazy people?....yeah you're right it probably is because of lazy ppl, lol 
Anyways, here's a step by step guide for you....
1. Click on "My Account"
2. Sign in
3. Click on "Billing Info"
4. On the left it will say "Subscriptions", with a little red arrow pointing down, click this.
5. CUnder "My Subscriptions" click on the Star Wars Galaxies
6. This should list all your information, at the bottom is a tab, that says "Cancel Subscription"
7. If I was of any help, thencan I haveall your stuff?
8. If your not actually leaving and this was a stunt to make a small rant, then...
a. Why bother?
b. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.
c. Don't post crap like this again.

You should not have to search around to find out how to cancel. Personally, I would have spent a few minutes looking, then just send an email to SOE customer service indicating you wish to cancel. Then, call your credit card company and tell them you tried to cancel and couldn't figure out how and that SOE ignored all your attempts at communication (imagine that). Have the charges removed from your bill for the current month and let SOE eat that partial month payment.

That would be fraud and SOE will then own everything in your credit card and bank account.
But then again, it's worth a try lol

Nope, I really needed to know this, because if publish 6 hasn't substantially improved the game, I'm quitting until the game does become better. I haven't tried the new publish yet, so I'll get on tonight.

I hope you're not expecting to see much change on the live servers if you get on tonite looking around. - Publish 6 is not out yet.
