Thread: Is this safe?

Is it safe to give all the items of a character over to another character, then delete the first character? I remember in the first couple months there was a bug that if you didn't wait a while before deleting the character it would destroy all of the items it just gave over. Can anyone confirm that's fixed? If not, can anyone tell me a minimum time I should wait?

I'd wait 30 mins just to be safe, I just had a HUGE server boundary problem. I had to relocate my entire shop twice

Wait at least a half hour, for the server to update and save the fact that you have given the items to another character. Back in around August or early September I made a new character twice, and used other people to transfer my stuff. It poofed both times. After going through about 4 CSR's one of them finally let me in on the fact that you have to wait at least a half hour before you delete the original character that had the items.


Since then I've transfered items over to my alt, waited a half hour, deleted and made new characters and haven't had a problem.


Don't delete for at least a half hour. Don't be like me and learn the hard way.

Might be easier to just drop the items in a house or factory input hopper. Just make sure both characters are on the admin list.

Anyways, I'd do your best to stay off the terms for the time being if you don't have a completed template. Take some time to learn combat in the new system. Right now no one's sure of anything, so try not to get killed, especially by Bounty Hunters.

yea well i am on the terms any way. it not realy far that i am thought tell me what you thinkg


when i loged in i had all must jedi stuff on. i saw some nyms right there in front of me. my house was less the 1 m behind me but when i tryed to move it said i cant becuase i have negitve skill points or somthing. and i couldnt move till i respeced. so what happend was the nym attack the saber went off and bam i had vis. .... /sigh i dont think there any thing good happing
