Hi everyone!

I am very new to the game. I love it!

I have taken up tailoring and have been having a wonderful time just trying to achive novice tailor.

I was wondering though if there is a detailed list of all resources and names and a guild to let us all know which resource is use for what crafting profession?

Not sure if I explained what I am looking for.

I would like to know the names of every resource available in the game. Then I would like to know which resource is used for which profession.

Thank you so much for your time and attention

I guess your best bet would be SWGCraft - they also have lists of current resources apart from schematic lists (although I'm not sure how up to date the latter are, it is mainly used to check for resources).

And btw: this is very much a community project, so if you start harvesting resources with any regularity yourself, it would be great if you kept the list for your galaxy updated. The crafters of your servers will appreciate it

Oh, and by the way: welcome to SWG

swgcraft.com is a pretty comprehensive database of the majority of crafting information.

You can search for resources (either ones currently spawning, or the entire history of resources on the server) to see what planet they come from and their stats.

You can see what schematics use what resource type. The search only returns schematics that specifically require the criteria you enter. So if you select "Bristley Hide", it won't show you any items that use the more generic "Hide", "Creature Structural" or "Organic" categories.

You can see how resources are organized in the "resource tree" to answer questions like "this item requires "seeds", what can I use in it".

You can look through the profession skill trees to see what professions makes a particular item, and then see what resources are required for that item.

The resource database is updated by players, so there's a chance that something showing up as "current" on swgcraft has already shifted out, and a new resource may not yet have been added. Also, the item schematics have changed a few times (the Combat Upgrade majorly changed the armor crafting, but it looks like swgcraft has been updated for that), so the site may not have the latest correct information.

But it's mostly accurate, and is almost always the first place I go to look up any crafting information I happen to need.
