Thread: Question about Akxva Min spawn. No, not that question.

All right, I already know Akxva Min only spawns after a server reset. And she spawns in the caves at the Nightsister Stronghold POI. What I'm wondering is does she always spawn after a server reset. Here's why I ask.


Tuesday morning I logged off inside the caves as I was getting the system message that the server would be shutting down soon blah blah blah. Naturally I made sure I had mucho positive faction with the ladies so I could concentrate on just A.M. I checked and rechecked the status of the server constantly and after roughly an hour and a half I signed back on. Man, that place is scary. I'd never seen it with spawn before. Reds, yellows, and whites all over. I logged in at the end of the cave system where Grovo and the 4 or 5 Nightsister Protectors are. But I didn't see any A.M. Thinking it might be like the Kiin'Dray spawn I decided to kill Grovo. After about 5 tries I got him. No A.M. So I killed the Protectors. Still no sign of the witch. So in frustration I slaughtered the rest of the caves inhabitants. For my troubles I got a clear crystal and one or two pieces of refuse.


Now I can't think of how someone would have already killed A.M. before I signed on. Specially with so many other NPCs and MOBs still in the caves. Guess it's possible.


Any thoughts?

My only guess is perhaps this was just something the devs designed to prevent people from getting to Akxva Min by logging in the cave.

When I killed her, I logged outside the cave, and after server reset I could target her from outside the cave.

My guess is perhaps if people log inside the cave, she won't spawn.

When I killed her I logged off inside the cave, but when I logged back on I was booted outside.


Strange that she didn't spawn for you.

I guess I will try logging out outside of the cave system next time I give it a try. I'd read other accounts of people who had done so only to be disappointed by seeing someone else who had logged off inside the cave system had already beat them to the punch by the time they got down there.


I am on the Bloodfin server BTW. If there is some enterprising individual who is constantly camping her for the loot drops I would appreciate it if you would allow me to join you in a group. I have only the interest of obtaining the badge and killing something in the game that I have not been able to see yet alone kill. She is on a short "To Do" list of mine. Thanks.

wednesday night i logged out in the cave next to her spawn, since i wanted the badge. i logged on and was still in the cave. 15m from her tuesday morning after server restart.


so, unless my staying there was a bug. those that got kicked out might have had there position saved incorrectly or otherwise have been bugged, but you can log in next to her with her being there.

this is your answer: A Jedi with avoid incap has got there before you.

Seriously it only takes then 20 seconds to run down there use avoid incap which keeps them alive long enough to kill Akxva Min >loot >leave without killing anything else.

How do I know? Had it happen to me over 6-7 times now both at NS stronghold and elsewhere.

sorry to bump this, but when i got her this morning, i did a /logout command right near her spawn point, logged in right next to her inside the caves

If there was protectors in there then someone else got to her. The protectors spawns when you attack Akxva. Its fairly easy to avoid them and take her out.
