Thread: I killed Mellichae, and so can YOU!

Just finished it up over on chilastra, /cheers, heheh actually omw to the shrine as I type this. But at any rate, most of you who have tried this know it is bugged to HELL. Whether its the unbalanced levels of Mellichae and Daktar, or the Crystals not blowing up. But, I have a fool-proof tactic, probably that everyone has heard of, to complete this quest!
First off, the crystals.
You all know, green first than red right? Well, do NOT have your friends attack the crystals. You must destroy them yourself. Now I'm not 100% postive on this, but I did test it 2x, and managed to kill all 4 by myself.
Mellichae and Daktar, ah yes, THIS will be the hard part. The only thing I can advise you to do is bring several full groups. Though I did finish this quest with only 10ish people. (only 1 being jedi). I would advise smugglers, pistoleers, rifleman, do NOT bring melee, (DUH!). Kneecap shot, concussion shot, stopping shot, intimidate shot are ALL your friends. Bring CM's to do mass area heals, and 1 or more jedi to heal, making sure your all On Leave btw. Just keep alternating between concussion shots, stopping shots when they run out, and you'll have these two bosses cleared in no time, and on your way to Jedi!

My thought was just have a Master Defender tank them for you. Assuming they can keep the bosses on them, and not have the running for the Riflemen (and assuming you have some Enhancers to back him up with Transfer), it'd be doable.

Or, alternatively, you can havehim spawn right next to a river in Coronet like i did. Then just shoot at the crystals, then at his henchman, then finally at him from the other side and wait till he is in the middle of the river before running down the riverbank a shooting as you go..I dunno if you can cancel the mission and try again somewhere else but if you canthen justkeep trying till he spawns near a river.

I was with a 6-man (no jedi) group and we successfully killed Mell without much trouble. I did not coordinate the attack but was called in to help (...and yeah..I am melee). WE simply sicked a few droids on him...then all attacked...in less than 1 min he was dead and none of use were touched. I have only done this once...and have no experience on what the minimum is to kill him....but our technique worked without a hitch....so if it helps someone...great! Since it was only our first time fighting him..and we tried no other tricks..I assume it was the droids that made it so easy since they tanked while 6 of us opened up on him.

well actually u don't need groups of people or uber jedi or anything like that... i done this mission yesterday with just 1 other person.. and we managed fine with almost NO problem at all... i don't have time atm to tell how i done it but when i come in from work.. i'll post how we done it and the screenshots to prove it.... and yes, 2 people
