Yes, you can get it. At least I can and here's how.
My faction is rebel. I go to Moena and take rebel missions at or two levels above my combat ranking.
Fly to the camps and you will find two or three imps at or above your CL.
As long as you attack thier back the others will not aggro you. You kill one, sit down, recover then kill the other one.
With double XP and entertainer buffs you can pull 22K - 28K XP per mission or about 50K XP per run.
The imps will aggro if they are both facing you when you initiate the attack, but the vastr majority of the time they do not.
And it's nice that you build up faction points as well.

I use a droid as tank/puller ,run to about 100m from mob then command the droid to attack and always get the mob single ,let the droid attack mob for 5+seconds then attack with range weapons ,im only a commando 0-4-4-3 and mobs are easy with mine acid launcher 
can get 3600exp per kill at lvl40
