Thread: A quick question about one of the mining quests.....

For the mining quest right after you get the tractor beam you're next told to find a damaged freighter in the corellia system and siphon its resources. How exactly do you go about this? when I use the tractor beam it destroys the ship eventually. I'm probably just missing a minor detail, but any advice would be appreciated.

Can you check your inventory is not full?


I've seen a few people reporting issues - in beta we did have problems but they were cleared up - just before we went live I took a toon right through the quests without a problem.


Don't use your normal cannon. It may also help to remove any iron asteroid from your inventory and put it in your backpack (that is what you are trying to pick up.


The ship will blow up when the mission completes.

Ah so basically I should be able to just fly up to it and use the tractor beam until it explodes? provided I have room in my inventory? I'll give that a try real quick
