OK, I'm lvl 16 and my friend is lvl 80. We go to Lok and kill these lvl 80 Gurks. He is getting 10k experience but I am only getting 2k experience. Why is this? Is it because he is outdamaging me? Or is there a cap on amount of experience one can gain at a certain lvl?

basically there's alevel xp cap. The way the level system works is creatures above your level get a damage modifier when they attack you for every level higher they are. Thats why a lvl 395 mutant baz nitch could hit me for 26000 damage. When you group, everyone in the group becomes the level of the highest person in the group, which means althoughyou'll still be getting full xp as appropriate to your level,you'll get to grind (or quest)with your friends even if they are way higher than you, and you can fight level 80s without getting one shotted. (although, still gonna be tough if your 16

So, full xp for a lvl 16 character is 1,000? (i was getting 2,000 w/the double xp week)
