aagh ok thanks and also do u have to have rotw to do these quests even the ones which arnt based around having to go to kashyk

The clone armor quest does not require you to step foot on Kashyyyk.

Whether or not you have to have ROTW, on the ther hand, is a different story. I don't know.

I tried talking to the first guy in the quest last night, (no ROTW) and he gives me a one liner like 'leave me to my drink' the fact that he has a bionic arm i think is a hint that you need the expansion to get it

afterall, the expansion is based on the new movie, so it makes sense that you need the expansion for ep.III themed goodies like the clone trooper armour. cyclic products make good money - people see the clone trooper armour in game - want to see movie more, people eager for the movie, go get the expansion to get clone trooper armor. (plus the 'bionics' upgrade is no doubt pulling on the anikin-to-bionic-darth vader theme)
