I've seen four skill tree combat, crafting, reflex and another (not sure titles) with four skills in each. Well TH says 24 skill points to get through FS. So where is the 24 pts come from what are the fields that need to be filled. Does everyone have to do crafting or fighting. Just confused on skill tree for FS. Does anyone know how it looks. Mostly i want to know if you can go striaght crafting or striaght fighting or mix. All post i see show 16 fields in skill tree where are the 24 skill blocks ?

As far as I am aware there are 4 blocks with 4 trees containing 4 boxes.

That makes 64 boxes in total.

You need 24 to be able to do Padawan trials or something.

Correct me if I am wrong.

I made it to the village today and I did my quest for this phase and unlocked novice combat prowess. It looks like a typical proffession skill tree with novice and master at the top and bottum with 4 rows of skills with 4 skill per row. Past novice each skill will cost you one skill point and you will need 6 rows of 4 skills to get your 24 fs boxes to make jedi initate and then move onto the padawan trials. That is where your 24 skills points come in and as for mixing it up you can if you want to but you need 6 completed tree's of skills weather you do 4 in combat prowess and 2 others in something else or do one here 3 there etc etc.

The exp needed in combat prowess is pretty scary.... the conversion ratio is 1 force combat exp point per 30 normal combat exp you convert. I converted 900k unarmed, 900k two handed, over 600k one handed, 290k combat exp and a little from some of the others and i'm still 50 force combat exp from my first skill box past novice combat prowess.

Interesting. I have 24 FS boxes and am not an initiate. Any ideas on how to move forward?

You need 6 complete columns of FS skills--not simply any 24 boxes. Once this is done, I think there's an "exit quest."

Then somehow you have to earn Jedi xp in order to pick up Novice Lightsaber. Of course...since using lightsabers is the only way to get Jedi xp...I'm not sure what the Devs intend for you to do. Unless the exit quest gives you 20k jedi xp to get Novice Lightsaber.
