all i did was visit exar kun's temple. kinda wierd going from nothing to everything in about 10 mins.

you and me both. On the same temple too i went from "barely" to "glow" in seconds by the way

The thing that matters for your /checkforce rating is how many requirement groups you've completed, not how many total requirements you've completed.
I suspect that if there are three requirement groups, A, B and C, each with 3 items in them, and you have 2/3 in each one for a total of 6/9, you may feel nothing. But if you have 3/3 in two and 0/3 in one, for the same total 6/9, you may feel a surge.
