Thread: How do you tell the difference between looted schematics (i.e. tanned hide)

Since there are supposedly 2 types of tanned hide schematics in circulation, is there any indicator on the examine window of the schematic that would tell which one it is? Same goes for technical consoles.
I recently looted 2 tanned hide schematics but don't know if they are the same or different. Can an architect tell the difference maybe?

an architect will know the difference, although ididnt realise there was 2 diffrent hides

So how does the architect know, before he makes them that is? Anyway, I will find an architect and ask, thanks!

The very simple answer is there's no way to tell until the schematic is learned by the architect. It's much like the Crafters Apron schematic from Jabba's theme park -- you don't know which it is until the tailor learns it.
That being said, I've learned several of these new schematics and it appears to be in order (though this could just be a fluke). I got the brown Tanned Hide, then the white, then the brown again. For the techincal consoleit was with the viewscreens first, then without, then with again.

When you learn the schematic, you can use your structure crafting tool at a structure crafting station and it will show the image in the crafting menu.
I wish the schematics would say style 1 or style 2 though. (btw, one is brown and the other is white and brown and they both have slightly different shapes)
