Carbineer. But master each and every line of Pistoleer, Rifleman, and Carbineer to get LvL 80.

But end it with Mastering Carbineer.

I can't get level 80, I am a master AS and some merchant. I have just enough skill points to master a single elite combat prof.

I'm in the same boat as you, and I'm finding TK to be interesting. Innate armor and bare fists with damage comparable to non-sliced, non-PUed weapons makes shopping for combat supplies simple (basically: I don't have to do any). With TK's high defense and Center of Being, you can survive most fights. I'm currently CL 35 and can take on creatures up to 37 as long as I don't aggro too many, 38 if I take them one-on-one. You're not going to be cutting through hordes of creatures like a pre-CU TKM, but it is easier to survive encounters.
