for the chief, make sure you have all the stuff you need for the quest (check your quest journal..) It's bugged - He'll say you have everything and do that in an endless loop, even if you don't.

I really want to do the quest so i can get the mining equipment, but he keeps sayingWhat are you staring at and will not let me start the quest so waht do i do?
The chief repeateadly says to come back and never lets me continue on to the next quest.

I'm also in that loop with the chief.
Done everything he asks and he keeps telling me to come back.
The CSRs say they can't fix this mission or delete it so i can do it over.
It's just one of the scores of missions on Kashyyyk that work for some people and not for others.
On the good side, we're getting multi-person vehicles. Well, whoop-de-bloody-do.
