Thread: Soloing Vette Neutral rescue mission Very doable.

Just did it about an hour ago. I was ridign along w a friend who was doing the destroy for a couple of guildies who need content badges. While walking around avoiding SBDs it occured tome that the areas where you needto go for rescue are realtively SBD free sooI got the ticket and tried it. Worked exactly howI expected.I'm guessing that this can only be done w Neutral as the Mobs are only level 25 withe exception of the SBD's. OK so heres the basics, Im not writing a full walk through of exactly how to do the rescue as ithas already been done 9really well in fact)and you can find it on the forums here.
1. You will die in the room where you retrieve the door code thats inevitable becasue there is a SBD standing there howver both times I've been in the room so far I've had plenty of time to radial the console and get code. Plus w no more decay there who cares right.
2. Kill all the Corsecs that agro you, this is a must because you cant converse while in combat (agroed) and you need to talk to the prisoners to finish mission.
3. Sorry but unless you bring a Jedi w/ avoid incap or force cloak you cant get the loot. this is more ofr people who need a content badge.
Ok took me about 20-30 minutes total but I was hunting down all the Corsecs I could hoping for a decnet AA or CA. Admitedly not as good asthe pre cu destroyand get all loot in 5 min but hey.....hope it helps someone

Congrats! I also like leading these for the guildies, and I prefer this map to the warren. I had been known for making powerplant runs for the heck of it.
So how did you hit the engine room? Usually have to go through a crowd of sbd's.
Also when I checked the elevator switch, the system spammed me to get in the door the "right" way. Considering that the "right" way consists of going to the target rich environment (ie sbd's)...

you can get some of the loot still the small rom with the droid in with the amoir as well is easy to get just stand at the door with out going in you get no agro from SBD's

SBDs are still one shot killers (CL190?) andI had no prblem wit hteh dorr opening soI could "look" in and hit switch.

Ah but I saw in TC patch notes the Corvette was balnced. Perhaps SBDs are only level 81 like in the DWB? Man that would be nice. No more of this sneaking around the SBD crap. Wow imagine if you could actually fight your way through the Corvette.
That would be a dream come true. I can only hope. Are all the other Mobs really level 25? Due to their HAMs from before I would think they would all be more level 50 and so on.
So everything is like level 25? Hmm that's almost to easy. Hopefully SBDs aren't the only powerful things up there now. I hope this is the end of the all powerful SBDs though.

i was able to run both the neutral rescue and destroy missions last night and finish them both solo...hit all 4 loot spots on the rescue run, but only 3 on the destroy....SBDs in the main elevator is still a problem sadly

Was that on TC or Live?
I hate SBDs in the elevator. That really is a pain, and totally ruined a tripped up there for me. There is nothing worse then getting up the elevator and behold there are 3 SBDs in The Elevator and another 2 outside. Good luck trying to see anything when that happens.
Still curious to how the Corvette has been balanced.

im getting the ticket again for tonight I'll post results. And yeah for some reason teh corsecs are all a low CL 25.

im having trouble with the loot spots. the one with the droid and the armoire.. bang, dead as soon as i get to the door before it.. walking. and the armory one, cant get in without agroing the sbd. same with the one on the uh, up floor
any advice?

Tried it. Got one shot countless times by that SBD. Spent almost the whole time trying to get that one damn code. Failed.
