I'm assuming this term is referring to the themeparks. Don't all the themeparks require combat skills to complete? Even the Nym one does to a point. So how are non-combat professions supposed to be able to finish them to get the visit from the old man?

This is what pisses me off about SOE...they tell us that the whole Jedi system will be revamped so that players won't have to alter their templates or do combat to become FS. And then they remake a system that does exactly the opposite.

Hire a person to follow you around and do it for you. It is possible.

Quite true.... Even before release, I remember a gameplay vid that was put together that included a crafter or weak-combatant hiring out some muscle to do some missions.

They never claimed, to my knowledge, that you'd never have to kill stuff. But if you have all your skill points wrapped up in crafting, then you should be making enough money to hire some people out. If you're on Starsider and the price is right, look me up and we'll have them done in no time :-D

Of course, if you're an entertainer, you have my sympathies.... I don't see how anyone could make money in that line of work with the scar holo-grinding left on the game. :-/

they never said grouping wont be a part.

Tip, if u want to be a jedi, be a little experienced at fighting (and grouping).

Just fs? Be a little familiar with grouping. Most the badges u need, no fighting is involved

Artisans make money... right. Like someone said hire someone. I would help somone get through a quest for a new set of armor a weapon or whatever you craft may be. Heck alot of people would do it for free if you was nice to them! I would just to get away from doing the grinding quests and to do something a little different.

Like I could not get the ACT III quest done myself. I found two TKAs and asked them to go with me. They did for free. In the end I tipped them 50k each in thanks. Be more resourceful and stop crying.

Oh, also... I think part of the point of making becoming a Jedi more combat oriented is because, well, being a Jedi is combat oriented. I think the though (pre-release at least) was that it was the Ultimate Achiever goal. If you're a Social player or a Crafter, being powerful probably isn't as important to you--and Jedi ARE powerful.
