Thread: Helper Droid Problem

I have been here since launch and all of a sudden a helper droid has been in my datapad. I delete this useless thing everyday to have it return the next time I log in. Hey Devs can we fix something in this game. I realize that would involve effort. That must be why you keep on giving us paintings. It shuts some of us up for a few days but you guys really don't have to do anything to put these in. Congrats on this wonderful game that everyone is leaving.
P.S. I am staying. But fix the helper droid.

That's strange. Mine stayed deleted. If you learn a new novice profession, though, it will come back. Have you been doing that? If not, then you may want to submit a ticket. Or just keep deleting it an hope that sooner or later it stays gone

Well I learned medic but I'm not dropping and picking up novice professions everyday.

I have the same problem, and Im scared to buy any droids in case this retarded little thing deletes one of them to make room or itself in my datapad.

Hey I got the same problem too, and the CSR said to rename my profile file profiles1... and guess what? It DIDNT WORK, what a surprise

Every time you pick up a new novice profession, it will create the helper droid in your datapad. You can make it permanently go away by completing the medic profession quest it gives you, then deleting it. It will realize you don't need it anymore, and go away.

So you HAVE to complete the quests for professions you pick up? Sod that, you didnt have to do anything to delete it before, and Im not wasting four hours sitting in a medcenter healing people and crafting CDEF Rifles

Umm, you don't craft CDEF Rifles to get Master Medic; you craft stimpacks or BEC's.
but I get your drift.
I re-rolled a character on another server, got the helper droid, but it has yet to pop out and beep beep me like they did when first introduced, unless I pick up a new profession. And then it only pops out that one time, never comes back each day like yours is.
Sounds like you just got a particularly helpful little booger. lol

I think i read somewhere you can finally delete it one week after you started the new profession. I'm not really sure but i'll see it soon. Started scout again two days ago and deleting this green mob every day ...

I have the same problem with a little green thing reappearing everyday. If only SOE themselves were this persistent in trying to help!

I have the same problem. I started a new profession and the little green guys appears. In the past it's been complete his tasks then delete. I did the same thing this time... tasks complete, then deleted him. The next day he's back... delete... next day he's back... delete... little green guy sure is persistent.
