Thread: Jedi temple ruins quests (DANTOOINE)

I need help... I accidentally made a quest (only ONE quest, I don't want to make quests for him) for Luthnik, the dark jedi at the ruins... I was quite angry because Drakka (the light jedi) did not want to speak to me...

Now, of course, Drakka still refuses to speak, simply because I'm "damned to the dark side" or something like that... I would really like to repent... in other words: may I reset the quests? and how? I tried to speak with a planet record keeper, but he only wants to reset all of the tatooine quests, and I really don't want it...

A. Talk with another NPC in town with a Icon above there head that gives quests, when he says "I can see your working for sombody else" talk with him again and tell him you want to quit working for this person.

B. Talk with the original quest giver again he should give you the option to fail or drop the mission.

One of these 2 ways works on most NPC quests.

the planet record keeper for dantooine is in the Mining outpost. near the cantina i believe....

hopefully that will work for you. it did not for me ( i couldn't do the light jedi quest after reseting) perhaps it was b/c i had imp faction. in any case, good luck to you...

Did you only accept the quest from the dark jedi, or did you actually complete it? If you completed it, resetting your status regarding the planet quests is probably the only way to go. If you only accepted it, see if talking to Luthnik allows you to quit, or use the method about talking to another NPC to drop your current work.

Also, I believe that both Jedi are factionally aligned. I had to re-declare my Rebel affiliation to get any missions from Drakka. Just having positive rebel faction wasn't enough. If you're a declared Imp, the "damned to the dark side" comment may have been directed at the fact that your supreme commander is a Sith Lord.

I completed the first quest, and that's why I'm beyond salvation (in Drakka's opinion)... I'm covert rebel, since having only positive rebel faction isn't enough... dunno if I have to be overt too...

The planet record keeper on Dantooine is a mess of NPC, there are 5 or 6 of them stacked in one place... and they talk about resetting my status on TATOOINE and not Dantooine...

i think it is a mistype. i can't recall if i noticed it before or not. but that is the person to reset your quests. have positive reb faction, and be a declared reb...you should be able to do it the second time around.

it does not matter in the least whether you are overt or covert. go join up with the rebel alliance and then work yourself up to the third rebel rank (i.e., you do have to have accepted two promotions in the rebel ranks) to be able to do the light side jedi quests.

The record keeper may say Tatooine but he means Dantooine, just go ahead and reset it will work.

i didn't say overt/covert. i said you have to be a declared reb. (i.e. a member of the rebel faction. it is possible to have positive rebel faction and not be a rebel.)

but sm150 is right, it doesn't matter if you are covert/overt
