Just thought I would throw this out to the community. Im currently trying to even out my -4800 Imperial faction points to get to 200 Imp FP to be able to declare Imperial. The gring is awful, doing cheesey missions over and over (...and over and over).

Does anyone have any good tips or tricks to gain faction points faster? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Pick up a decent Pistol FWG5.

Head to Kaadara (Take missions east)

Imperial Oasis on Tatooine (Missions any direction)

Lok (Pet highly recommended)

Kaadara - east missions tend to group closer due to being on the shore. Risk is that missions will be stolen as many people like taking them there, or they will spawn inside buildings. This will prevent completeing the mission but you can almost always still farm the npcs from it for FPs.

Imperial Oasis - on Tatooine - Missions all spawn fairly close by. Having Exploration is a reccommended here as terrain is mountanous all around.

Lok - Haven't done missions here alot - but tend to be higher level available and if you have a large pet to send in to the base you can wipe it for a larger FP reward without really dealing with the NPCs to much.

If your doing any of the standard imperial missions. (Non Lok) A decent pistol and point blank area makes it a snap.

As long as you carry a few stim b's around to heal up the action/health pool just run in and unload on them.

It takes about 5 to 10 seconds to clear all the NPCs then just take out the base and rinse repeat.

you need underworld IV, u must be neutral to buy from either, but just go to a recruiter, think the max you can go to is +500 faction standing, so you could buy 5300, not sure the cost.

As a human Imperial smuggler, I was in the AT-ST for business (until a patch stopped faction pet transfers). I tried many ways to accumulate faction points and this is what worked best for me:

1) Big individual payouts are tempting, but a repetitve grind of easy missions returns a higher yield over time (less time healing), and allow for solo missions. This leads totip 2

2) Do not use pets of any kind. They subtract from your faction point returns. Another reason to grind the easiest of missions. In addition you get much better results in looting.

3) I haveread that many do not destroy bases, and travel back and forth to just kill respawns. You can accumulate faction quickly this way, but I found that I recieved more by completing the missions. Not only do you accumulate credits, but that bonus for completing the mission is the biggest return of all. To make this work, get missions in the same direction and less than 600 m away.

4) Find the most isolated terminal in the most unpopulated place youcan find. Besides the fact that"mission stealing" is greatly reduced, you can worry a little less about that TEF you will constantly be carrying.

5) Plug away...keep your nose to the grindstone. Tell those that send /tells that you are busy. Set your player to AFK. Take plentyof stims and/or camps. Only go to town for Battle Fatigue.

Using the above methods, I could crank out an AT-ST about every 8 hours of playtime.
