I want to hear some opinions about which FS combat branch to train first, speed, accuracy or defense. My character is TKM, so he hits the target every time. Will extra accuracy improve the damage per hit? If not it would seem that speed would be the most useful.
Also, how much does that extra 20 points on the defense help, a lot or a little?
Thanks for your opinions; I prefer informed ones please...

yeah wrong forum, but you asked nice so ill answer...
as a TKM you are speed capped, so speed wotn help at all.
as a TKM you have tons of accuracy, but it does not cap so it will help sometimes.
as a TKM you have lots of defenses, but you are not capped, so I would go defenses first.
This is all based on the assumption you are staying TKM, if not then i would go other routes.
Swordsman
Speed, Acc, Def
Fencer
Acc, Def, Speed
Pike
Speed Acc Def.

I agree with titanten above.....TKM has the highest accuracy in the game by far at 205. Only a BH/Master Carbineer comes close at 200, BH/Master Pistoleer is at 165 adn rifleman is next at 160. So Accuracy won't benefit you a whole lot....I'd take it second to defense though.
There's no use for speed, your capped anyway.
Defense will only give you +20 meleed defense (MD)and +20 Ranged defense (RD) and no other kinds of defenses. However, TKM is very low on RD (only +45) and MD (only +65).....so defense will be the best bet for a TKM, but again, with TKM's, rifleman and BH pistoleer/carbineer hybrids running around in the game, their accuracy is so high, it almost negates MD and RD in PVP. Now if your doing PVE, then having high RD and MD will show greatly (even a NS elder misses me 3 out of 5 hits with capped RD and MD).
Also, keep in mind that force sensitive ranged speed is broken and there's no word on when or if it will ever get fixed....so don't even bother taking that at all unless your just looking to fill your 6 branches to unlock jedi.
So I say take'em in this order.
Ranged Defense
Melee Defense
Melee Accuracy
after that, take whatever you think you might want or need, but check the force sensitive forums for the latest info on each branch before you commit to a village quest. You just might not like what you have to do in order to complete a quest.

actually MD and RD dont count for as much as youd think... toughness reduces overall dmg taken... those ther 2 help in a lesser way ...at least on the current system

yeah they stop you from getting hit. They are like anti-accuracy for whatever you are fighting, yes i said anti-accuracy as ive stayed up all night and am too tired to think of the correct word.

Thanks for all the advice. I have no problem doing any of the quests in the village (I was planning on doing almost all of them anyways...). I did not know that I was already speed capped, that certainly makes a difference. I do mostly PVE (because I don't have the in game time (or patience) tomastering yet another profession; andit just doesnt fit into my character concept. Nor do I think I am going to be a Jedi any time soon. (Hey, I must be one of those "the Jedi quest takes a lifetime" type of dude!) Thanks to everyone who helped.

I have another question about "speed capped"...Does this meant that I will get no benefit from clothing or armour attachments that give a boost to unarmed speed?
