I have been playing my Jedi so much that I kinda forgot which prof is better for PvE.
I am looking to be a Tank able semi-solo (group of one other) to hunt Krayt and Elders.

Since elders have 100% resist to kinetic damage, you'd be better off going swordsman. The powerhammer and it's blast damage are great for elders

That's easy....swordsman for pve.....there's no profession that can match a speed capped swordsman with a PH in PVE....TKM is naturally speed capped just by mastering the profession but since they only have kinetic damage, they kinda come up short against some high level mobs (krayts, NS elders, DWB, Geo cave, SBD's, corvette..etc.) They are good tanks to take arggo off of group members but damage wise they can't compare to a swordsman. Meditate line is great though for saving time when healing wounds, disease and poisons.
