Unless it's a japanese server, a katana is like a japanese weapon, I think.

dunno, katana fits the server naming scheme (all ship names) because of the katana fleet.

I can't find it on the character creation screen. Maybe it hasn't been opened yet, but there's always the possibility of japanese or special edition (yeah right) only server.

yes, a katana is a japanese type of sword used mainly by the samurai.....
so i too would think it is a japanese server.

why would TH tell us about a Japanese server when they have never done so before?

That's what I was thinking. About 10 minutes until it comes up, so we'll know then. Would be nice if we got some official word on this (THAT MEANS YOU TH!).

why can't we play in japanese servers?? There has to be an option somewhere..

You can, in launchpad change it from English or US or something like that option to Japanese. IIRC you have to reenter password, and it'll all be in Japanese. I've played it before, got bored though.

Is this a new server? TH has it under extended matinence time, but I've never heard of it before. Does anyone know anything about it?
