Can anyone confirm (by a dev post) that the cave spawns are a nerf??? As far as I know it is just a bug... but I keep hearing people say it is a nerf... So where did we get the idea it was a nerf???

The only reply I have gotten out of a CSR on this issue is:

"We are aware of the issue and are working on it."

Atleast we know it is a bug and not a nerf tho... Cuz if it was a nerf the CSR would prolly say:

"It's working as intended"

"The ability to type does not make you intelligent."

CSRs probably wouldn't know the real answer. I think we need to wait for a DEV post, not that I expect one to come anytime soon.

I was told by a CSR that the caves were "working as intended" and "sorry for anyinconveniencesthis may have caused". Yea I was a little ticked off.....

err... a QA said it was a bug that occured due to some code trouble relating to the spawnrate at the geocave... they are working on it tho...

Better than the response I got... I received 'POI Spawns are random and working.' When i replied me and a friend took shifts camping from server up to server down to check I got 'We can't help you... Ticket Closed'
At least now they are saying it is a bug

should be fixed in the next little patch I hope on tuesday

This is a bug that we noticed on TC about a week or two ago. I didn't realize this made it into Live until now. The Devs/QA know about the issue and are working on it, I can assure you that.

I can not show you a dev post =(. However please take the few hours it may take to look for yourself. Prepare yourself and start the travels; Head to Aakura Cave, then Erran Sifs, NAYX. Then try some of Kunga/Janta/Mokk POI's which are empty too. Then log off because you are really mad you wasted all that time to figure out they only spawn once per day now!

ya. This is pretty lame. New player wants somthing to do, they learn about the POI tab.

"HEY COOL" says the nub. "I'm gonna go check out that Gungan place cuz that sounds like fun!"

gets there..... nothing there.

"hmmm" he says. "I read that one book that had witches, maybe I'll go see them"

Gets there. "ahh.. why do all these caves look the same?"

*noob turns off swg and returns to playing Xbox*

Devs HAVE to do somthing about this. As an Armorsmith, my main concern is the woolamander temple. On average, the Harrowors drop Bone Fragments (used in the creation of RIS armor) once in about every 10 spawns. Now if they are only spawning once a day, this goes to follow that there could, in theory, be only 3 drops a MONTH for these items. this is going to hyper infalte the value of these things to levels that simply should not happen. Its bad enough that GDK scales are running 6 million a pop, but if the woolamander isn't fixed, I can see these bone fragments becoming the most valuable SINGLE item in the game.

somthing really REALLY has to be done about this. Fast.
