Create a file in your /starwarsgalaxies folder called user.cfg
Open in wordpad or notepad, and add the lines
[SwgClient]
allowMultipleInstances=true
Once in the game, minimize, and start a new game.
note: I found this info by using the forum search function and looking up "running two instances of swg"

hmmm it worked for me less then an hours ago
you have to create a new file called user.cfg
and all it should contain is the following text
[SwgClient]
allowMultipleInstances=true
allowMultipleInstances=true

I sometimes put three characters on at the same time. I just don't try to do combat at those times, though actually I don't notice any more lag than usual.

1 - make sure you have 2 ACCOUNTS! cant run your new jedi and alt at the same time on 1 account.
2 - make sure you are in full screen mode. when i tried this a while back it would only work in full screen mode, i play in windowed.
3 - user.cfg is correct

i play 2 in windowed mode. (1024x768 with my normal res being 1280x1024)
unless you have 1.5 Gb of Ram its not going to be an enjoyable experience. i have 1 Gb and its ok, but 1.5 would be much better (no swapping to disk as much then)
