Thread: Holocron help!!!

Ok, there are two people to get holocrons from at the jedi temple ruins. The dude, and the chick in the cave behind the waterfall. My problem is I want a jedi holocron, not a sith one, but I didnt discover the girl until after I had talked to the dude. Now, its actualy pretty frustrating, let me explain:
I started a character that I'm going to become a jedi with. A jedi, not a dark jedi, so I'm a rebel. I know the holocrons dont make you jedi anymore, but i heard they ARE used by jedi now for recharging force or something. So anyway I wanted to get me one for when I finaly am a jedi. So I went to the ruins and figured the guy (who i visited on my other server as an imp and got a dark jedi holocron) would give me a regular holocron this time since I was a rebel. But the more i thought about it i realized this guy is evil doesnt give away jedi holocrons, only dark jedi ones. And the final mission for him requires you to kill a jedi initiate, which I couldnt do because he was a rebel and i was too, and he was unatackable. So I DONT complete that guys missions, and i dont get a holocron from him.
So I go in the cave and find the CHICK after i had done all this. The thing is she wont even give me any missions, just gives me some speach about how she cant talk to me. So now, since I didnt know she even existed, and talked to the other guy first thinking since i was a rebel this time he would give me a jedi holocron, I cant get EITHER holocron from EITHER of them. What I'm trying to find out by postint this is if there is any way to erase my records of talking to the dude so I can go and talk to the lady and get her missions and get a regular jedi holocron. Please help

Ok, I'm not sure if this will work, but go to the MO and talk to the IMP Record Keeper (go out the Cantina door and walk straight 30m, maybe more). The guy is usually bugged (there are three or four of the same guy standing in the same spot). Talk with him and he should wipe your mission clean. I've heard you can only do this once per record keeper per planet, so be sure you don't need him again.

why dont you just spam in coronet or theed
"TRADING SITH HOLOCRON FOR REGULAR HOLOCRON!!"
anyway it doesnt matter if its sith or regular, they both recharge you force weather or not your dark or light...at least the sith recharged mine, but hey im nuetral so what do i know

What a waste of time, good luck getting the holocron you need.

At least on my server, the recordkeeper is bugged (keeps trying to erase ur tat record instead of dant!)
I did the jedi quest before the revamp so i was able to still complete my quest (tho at that time the end reward wasn't a holo, not that i remember..been awhile) and I would like to actually redo it for my actually faction but i am unable to atm

And even if he COULD finish the sith holocron - unless something has changed over the last couple months... The holocron reward from either quest is a none trade item (One of those "Must be in top layer of inventory or bank" - can't even drop it in your own house)
You can reset the planet's quests as outlined above tho, then just do the jedi girl's quest.
