nice catch!!! There are some neat little trivial things like that in the game. I once wandered into the Most Espa cantina and saw two NPCs, Klaatu and Nikto (sp?), sitting on opposite sides of the table. Didn't see Barata, and Im not sure if it was intentional, but I found it a little curious since this was the command given to the robot in "The Day the Earth Stood Still" and also the magical chant in "Army of Darkness" (I got a kick out of them using that). Coincidence....??? I dont think so.
Barada is in the garage of Jabba's palace. Those three were Jabba's henchmen in Return of the Jedi. And it was almost certainly an intentional choice on Lucas's part (or at least whoever named them) to reference the Day the Earth Stood Still. RotJ pre-dated Army of Darkness, so that couldn't have been it.
I'm not sure how much leeway Sony has regarding stuff like that, so these are probably all references back to the movies, books, or other semi-canon sources. Although new stuff can get approved by LucasArts, so there's definitely the possibility. And I do seem to recall seeing that the collaboration between Sony and LucasArts made anything that did get approved (like the wookiee armor) to become "canon". I'm wondering if any of the Wookiee armor will end up being seen in Ep3. ![]()

Klaatu, Barada, and Nikto are all canon names for species in Star Wars. Lucas himself chose the names as his tribute to "The Day The Earth Stood Still" Keep in mind, when these guys appeared in "Return of the Jedi", "Army of Darkness" hadn't even been conjured yet.
Klaatu, Barada, and Nikto can all three be found on one of Jabba's skiffs. In fact if you hit ebay and search for those names you'll probably find a toy which depicts all three on the background of a skiff. They should all be somewhat familiar to you if you've seen "Return of the Jedi" a few times.
George Lucas often makes clever little puns through little known character/species names.
Regarding wookiee armor, yes, there will be some in Episode 3, although it will not be what we're used to. In fact from what I've seen here and there, it's not gonna look much like armor at all so much as a thicker heavier bandolier. Stupid if you ask me, but hey, they didn't...

I didnt think Lucas drew it from Army of Darkness, just thought it was funny that that expression was used in Army of Darkness. But I didnt know about it being in RoTJ, my dad will probably get a kick out of that since he is a big classic SciFi buff.
It might be kind of fun to assemble all these little trivial things and host a scavenger/trivia hunt for your guild or friends.
