I was there with my guild just last evening, and the lot of us noted exceptionally slow digestion, when our brandy ran out, our stomachs were only half empty. Is this a known issue? Bug? Intended? Bad luck? Our Imagination?

Its a known issue, has been happening for months now off and on. Just try and be cautious eating foods and drinks and you should be ok.

You should watch the ingame clock there too. Funny things happen with time while your there. Reason I loved it so much during the grind

easy way around this problem is to open and close your character menu every so often. it will clear out if you open every 10 mins or so.
