On the "Personal" screen (ctrl+P for me) and under the character tab there is a spot to put in Birth Date and Birth Planet. How can I do this, if I can?

Another one of the great mysteries of SWG I'm afraid. I don't think you can set them, and believe me I've tried!

Can't do it. The Devs have told us that we "may" see this feature added at a later date. Last time I saw a post on this topic was several months ago, so don't exp[ect to see it enabled anytime soon Anyways, there has been speculation that it will most likely be an auto-fill determined by when your character was created and where.

I would rather it be based off your bio. I know with one of my characters birth planet is Tanaab. Personally they should make it a one time select on thebirth planet. The age should be based off what you choose when your age range in the character creation process. Thatway itplayers will feel moreapart ofswg then having it be from the starting planet especially since they changedto start on tatooine for everyonenow.

That's just my two cents.

Yeah I'd submitted a ticket asking about how I could fill in those blanks, gota response saying that it's something that may be implemented in the future. Why, after ond and a half years has this still not been implemented orremoved? Because it's so hard to implement or fix something they already half finished? Do they insteadhave to hurry up and fix MAJORbugs like "Fixed a problem with /boardShuttle that in some instances would allow a character to board the shuttle when they are too far away"?

It's not like it's a really big issue so I shouldn't make such a big deal out of it, but it is annoying. It's like a piece of brocolli on your bosses front tooth. You want to scrape it off for him but you can't, since it's your boss. You try to tell him about it but all he says is, "Why yes I had brocolli, it was delicious, too." You want to walk away, but you can't because you've got something important that needs to be brought up to him. You have to stand there and watch as, every time he parts his lips, that big green chunk stares you in the face.

I agree. I'd like my Rodian to have been born on Rodia, since that is where he was born, in his bio, back before it recently got replaced with the word "Formation"

Seems kind of strange to be able to say "my birth date is..." and then go to an ID and get your age changed....

Well if they base birth on when you started playingI'd be about a year and a half old.

If these options ever do go active, I hope they will be seen in your /examine screen. Listed on there above your bio could be "birth planet" and "birth date". Your marital (spelling?) status should be on there too... I mean, when you get married, the box in you character sheet is checked. So what!? A stupid box is checked... it doesn't even do anything. When you're married, people should know.
