I'm fairly new to the game, and have been sent a very long email on making a crafting macro which I have manually typed in.

I was wondering if anyone out there knew if there was a way to Copy and Paste sort of thing from an email to a macro for future reference.

Not sure it will work in that window but you first need to assign key sequences for copy/paste. Open the Options window (Ctrl O) and with one of those options (at work atm) will allow you to assign keys for copy/paste. I think I use Ctrl-Shift-C and Ctrl-Shift-P or some such nonsense.

I don't know if this will help , but I did not know about it for 6 months. There is an ingame notepad with the clever comand of /notepad , this is were I put loads of info you can cut out of this and mail things but I have never tried pasting into a macro.

You can do /mailsave or maybe it is /savemail

That will put all your email in a text file in the SWG directory and from there you can edit the file to be your macro. Man it has been a long time, but then you can use /load *filename* I think to get the macro loaded.

I remember most people loading up macros from text files using Notepad out of game back in the early days....but I never did it myself....
