Hey All,
since the solo nerf what is the new way to make credits now? i have heard jtl is goodbut is there any other ideas? has anyone got a guide?

In every city, includding most player cities, there are "mission terminals". Select the "mission terminal" and choose a mission. Go to the waypoint that is put in your datapad, kill whatever surprise awaits you and you should get credits. Rise and repeat.
Also....
You can also choose a crafting proffesion. Make goods and sell them to other players. You can charge a ton of money for the simplest thing, but there are no guarantees someone will buy it, but its a fast way to make money.
Also...
Be a doctor, buffs are in high demand

Instead of forming a solo group, takea mission alone. It pays around 12k or more if you are a master combat profession.
OR
Form a big group and have everybody get two missions in one set direction (like all to the East) and then go and do the missions. If you all stick together and do them all, everyone will get payment for each of the 40 missions. It might not seem like much, but it will add up quickly, you can finish the missions quickly, and you can work as a group.

Whats a good thing to hunt for loot? anything not too strong but could give good loot?

The problem with this, aswell as the entire solo-group nerf, is that missions that a month ago we were doing BY OUR SELVES are now expected to be done with a group of 10+ people! Instead of taking the easy way out and spliting the mission difficulty a group of 10 people should be getting 150-200K missions that NEED all 10 of those people to actually do. Not a stupid spawn of 4-5 janta/mokks that 1 master melee proffession can kill with spin attacks in all of 10 seconds.

back in the day people took vor hunter missions nowadays u can prolly solo em and they give about 30k and a economic town(cant remember what th game calls it) do them then u will make lots quick. alos if u are imp i hear put an atst in ur party with just it and have it sit in your house and u can get some high paying missions.

run giant baz nitch missions on dathomir you get 11k per mission and they are fairly easy. they also give good xp
if you want good loot drops from easy missions try sopme aa'kun missions on talus. not sure what the payout is like but you stand the chance of looting a ring which normally sells at around 100-500k depending on server and effect of the item.

JTL all the way...I love killing all these low levels NPC's (aka tier1) and loot stuff and sell it to the NPC chassis dealer. I can loot a full bag (50 items) in about 15-20 mins and get 100K or more depending on Levels of equipment.

Here's what I do - not specifically for making credits - but for leveling a new profession.
But your gonna need credits to make credits for this one unless you faction farm.
I went Imperial. Paid a smuggler a v.high amount of credits for an AT-ST.
Put up a private house on Dant in a Imperial town with Imp base.
Go overt, and immediatly request to go covert. Leg it to your private house nearby, pull AT-ST and go inside, AT-ST follows.
Group with pet and tell it to stay. AT-ST now nice and safe from dodgy/pesky rebel swordsman and riflemen.
Voila instant solo group for Mokk's/Janta's and YES YOU GET THE FULL CREDITS AS BEFORE.
Two issues with this - your overt for an hour - no biggie just clone and insure before doing missions, if you die your still grouped.
No group interaction in chat - but you can always set up a chat channel for all your buddies.....
