Thread: Dont know where to post this question/request: How do we TURN OFF the default examine window

title says it--tiggs recently posted that default is to have half the window be the "examine" and other half the inventory--THIS IS SUPER ANNOYING TO ME to have to close it EVERY friking time--does anyone know of a setting to keep the full window mode on all the time?

I find it annoying as well. I hate the half-examine/half-inventory screen.
But as far asI know, there's no way to make one setting "stick". Wish there was...

Has this been addressed and I missed something? I haven't been playing for six months and came back. I've gotten usto all the changes and enjoy most of it..... BUT.... Having the examine window open on everything is driving me crazy...I close them like pop-ups on a bad web page. Please tell me they added an option somewhere to close those freaking windows cause it's the most annoying thing I have seen.

hmm, I usually just click the arrows in the corner. closes it, stays close till I click it again even after logging off and on.

Sorta. That will work as long as I don't open any other container. As soon as I open another container, even my own backpack it then resets my inventory and all other containers back to having the examine window open beside the contents.
