This is what I can say:
If you have a group of 3-5 people you can slain krayts pretty easily.
Get buffed, get 80% kinetic armor, have a master combat profession. Best is probably Rifleman and Swordsman, since they are the top PvE professions. TKA, Pikeman, Carbines works also.. anything do realy.
Have 2-3 guys tanking the krayt, then have the ranged professions stand away and fire. Depending on group setup either go random HAM or just Mind.
Keep the krayt Intimidated and if it runs for the ranged shooters have the melee tankers /taunt it to keep it aggro on the tankers.
After that, just pound away. Will take a while but very doable.
The Ancient Krayts are kinda hard heavy Armor, 90% resists. Try to avoid them.
Giants have medium Armor, 80% resists. They have strong Dizzy+KD attacks so be prepared to spend some flopping on the ground.

i've tried it with rifles...i'd have to say..you get a commando to put a 3k-6k burn dot on the dragon...and have a combat medic throw some nice health poison's/diseases on it...and have everyone hit the health stats..rifleman using strafe shot 2....they go very fast...but..if you have like 3 jedi there...will go super fast..LOl..Ceasar

Key to any good Krayt hunt is a good tank. Everything else just makes it go faster. The tank can do it solo if he's patient enough, usually on juvi's and canyons. The group role of a tank isn't to do damage but to retain aggro and limit the mob's damage. To do this effectively the tank should...
1) be the first to engage the mob,
2) begin with intimidate, followed by taunt and a quick hit.
3) retain aggro for a few seconds before unleashing the rest of the group on the mob.
4) pull the mob away from the spawn point /taunt along the way.
5) ensure adds aren't within range and move the mob if needed.
6) mix taunts in with hits. I /taunt after every third hit.
7) keep the mob intimidated. I stick this every 15 hits or so (Intimidate2).
8) stay off the ground as much as possible. The krayt will usually break from you once you hit the ground.
9) keep ranged guys out of the area attack of the larger dragons.

OPFOR's Not-Quite-Patented Easy Krayt-Killing tactic:
TK/Doc tanks. Flamethrower does the most damage. Everyone else in the group does whatever they can to make it go faster.
Simple! And it works!

The fastest way outside of jedi is one TKM and all the Master Commandos ya can get. You can easily take on an ancient and have it dead in no time with the DoTs the flamers can put on it, especially if ya use the looted tissues to good use
. The only problem with this tactic is that a rifleman or swordsman can simply walk up and outdmg ya easily, since the DoT from the flamer does not give any looting rights- an issue that will hopefully be resolved by the CURB.....

Nor do the DoTs give XP....this actually is a bug I believe that never was fixed, a killer bug...that is a top issue and going to be addressed.
For Flamers doing the most damage...don't confuse our DoT damage and actual damage, only our DoTs really do the damage (and do not count in our favor at all) since they bypass the resists...
Meanwhile, in the time span of 1 special, most hvy hitters in PvE (Riflemen/Swordsmen) usually do 3x "real" damage, but in the end do less damage sometimes than the 4 flame dots stacked (since that 3x dmg is resisted, but still is more than our resisted damage)...but yet get the looting rights...

Your best bet is to have 2 Melee professions ( TKM / Swordsman ) Tank for you.
- These 2 can rotate in and out for heals/downers/food.
Combat Medic/Doctor/Medic
- Your best bet is having a Combat Medic/Doctor with you
- 1 for Ranged heals
- The other for buffs running out
Ranged PvE
- Best bet is 2 Master Rifleman doing Advanced Strafe Shot 2 about 50m from the Krayt it self.
( Be very careful with this because, I *THINK* Adv. Strafe 2 is an AOE = Not good for 3 or more Krayts.
The reason you would want 2 Melee tanks is because if your Rifleman are Strafing it and suddenly another spawns in the Rifleman's firing arc, the reserve Melee'r can tank and hold the agro whilst the second rifleman can strafe shot it as well.
If you are faced with 3 or more Krayts ( It's possible to tank them all ) and you lack the experience to tank all 3, Just run or ask someone to taunt him off of you for a heal. ( Combat Medics are great here )
Hope this helps.

One knowledgeable tank, one master LS Jedi, and a little bit of teamwork has taken out everything from juves to ancients.
