Thread: Help with Imprisoned Villager

After talking to Whip and heading out to begin the rescue of the imprisoned villagers, I went to the waypoint, then to the new waypoint to 'speak with the imprisoned villager." After killing the Sith's guarding him, the imprisoned villager simply says, "I don't think that you're able to help me." I've gone back to Whip and he simply says, "Go on now! You've got to find those missing villagers!" Upon returning to the imprisoned villager, I keep getting the same response.
Anyone have any suggestions?

delete the wp and talk to whip again and rescue a different villager

I had that happen a few times... Speed out in the opposite direction you came from and return (say 75m out). That will trigger the updated waypoint to appear.

Impeco, if speeding out and then going back to the waypoint doesn't work (it didn't for me), then delete the waypoint and talk to Whip again. He will give you a new find camp waypoint and it should generate the find villager waypoint. On the 5th villager I had to do this 3 times so don't be surprised if you have to try it several times to get the villager waypoint to spawn.

This seems to be happening a lot. Just delete the mission WP from your datapad and go back to Whip. He'll give you another WP and you just go to that one.

I found sith, started fighting, then they vanished. There is no WP in my datapad to delete. Whip won't talk to me, and I cannot restart or take any missions.

Hmmmmmm i talked to whip then went to the first way point then it goes you should look around the area because they moved but i didnt get a new way point what should i do?

when you've talked to whip, gone to the first wp, got an updated wp, fought the sith and talked to the villager, WALK back to the village. He has to make it back there alive, so the usual trick of just speeding back and getting the next quest doesn't work

Happened to me with Whip. I sent in a bug report and they reset my mission status so I just had to start it again. No problems after that except for one mark spawning inside a tree but a camp fixed that.
