Yes, you are meant to group. Get in a group of at least four, preferably six, or with a group of eight you'll be smoking critters. You'll get crazy xp. Grinding is easier than ever now as long as you are grouped.

would advice to hunt rebels, if you are imp, a group of 4, 80 level character can take them down easy, and u can help people level quick or level quick, do some group hunts with your guild buddies, oh yeah, if your are a reb i geuss you can do imp, missions, the cool thing about doing faction missions is if you die you dont not suffer a severe cloning penalty, as to fighting monsters, i try to avoid, due to decay rates if you die, and they tend to destroy armor quicker from my experience, the stuff aint cheap anymore, and getting fp is kinda difficult if your not an ace pilot, doing faction mission in a group will get you fp and some cash very quick, to optimize faction on ground, once you get combat level 80 fight in a two man team, and attack each target solo, do not use AOE attacks, because will aggro a mob and they hurt alot. Always make sur u group with a level 80 character to do missions,
