Thread: Master Pilot for the Mining vessel?? That seems excessive for what is e

Why must we be a Master Pilot to use the new Mining ship? Its not really a combat ship, its for mining resources. Some of us would like to be able to use the ship even though we dont have Master Pilot. (I for one will never have Master as I am not a major space jockey)

I understand the mass/weapon mount issues, but it wouldnt be that hard to restrict the ship to certain levels of equipment.. i.e. level 4 blasters instead of master level blasters for example. Its not a combat ship anyhow so making that restiction is not cool for many people.

So you are saying you want the ship to be available at lower levels? SO what equipment are you going to be able to put on it?

LOW level crap.

This ship (Y-8) is not good for Solo mining with Low level gear, you would be ALOT better of mining with another vessel anyways.

Heck, I have the ship and im still mining witha Bwing because the y8 is NOT good for solo mining.



Right now is 2x xp, in space too. I think you will have a much easier 'grind' than Master Pilots did anyways...

It's a multiplayer (POB) ship. All POBs are Master level. This is to offset the huge mass and multiple weapons the ship can mount.
