Thread: Best self created content...
I'm a bounty hunter and I love role playing the part. You walk through the star port a lot differently when you are of the mind set "I'm all about business, I have to locate my mark. I have to be on my gaurd, etc." As opposed to thinking, "Man I need to burst run to a spy net npc, get the bio link, run out of the city, call my droids from my inv. run all the way back into the starport and try to find him."
I used to be a MSmuggler... and sometimes I'd make myself searchable and go hide in an alley in Cnet. When I got a tell from someone I'd RP it and make them come to the alley for slicing. Most people played along and it was pretty fun. Say things like, "how'd you get this comm chanel?". "I can slice your weapons, but you do know it's illegal right?"
It's all about perspecitive. That being said... you can have lots of fun w/out RP too.

Self Created Content is a tall order. I have always been a role player from way back. I'm 33 now and I have the first edition D&D stuff if that tells you anything. Unfortunatly most folks think RP is silly or nerdy. I say get the chip off your shoulder. You ARE playing Star Wars after all. Anyway, I find that helping new players who don't know me has been some of the best self created content. I have freedom to roleplay and hopefully make it a cool experience for them too. New players are more open to RP because they are fresh and free from the Veteran negativity. The other day I was offered 500k to help a couple noobs with a quest. I told them I could not accept money for this task but that I would help them if they gathered up some items for me. So basiclly I sent them shopping for me. Saved me a ton of time and made them feel like they were on a quest for a real Jedi not an NPC. My ego was stroked with all the deep bows and salutes. I don't know about you but I get off on that. After putting 11 months of blood sweat and tears into my toon I fianally get a little respect.
