why do they call em necrosis and not grevious?

Watch the clone wars cartoon. Not every single droid that looks like this is called Grevious. There are many of them. This is simply another.

Think of it this way: The ticket collector droids, while similar in appearance in structure to C-3PO, are not really C-3PO. Same idea with Necrosis and Grievous

Correct - Grevious still had the brain of the being he was befor his accident that lead to his droid body. I assume something similar with Necrosis.
