Thread: What time is 3AM PDT in EST?

Anyone know when everything is supposed to go down...I was hoping it would be down now, so it would be back up tonight when I get home from work.

Probably a moot point by this time, but the Eastern time zone is four hours ahead of Pacific.

12:30 est and still have not gone out of service yet... oh well with my luck probably be down from 7pm est - 12am est

Correction, the eastern time zone is 3 hours ahead of pacific. Example: Eastern(12pm), Central(11am), Mountain(10am), Pacific(9am)

And to add to this, PDT is pacific daylight time (daylight savings) and we are not in EST right now, we are in EDT (same principle) right now.

Whoops, you're right. In my head I counted "four time zones, so add four hours". The fact that the original poster is in the Pacific TZ (so he only adds an hour for each of the other three) somehow missed the calculations. I would've been right if SOE was based in Anchorage.
