Thread: Bolotaur mount quest walkthrough!

I'm master doc/master swordsman combat lvl 80..
1/ talk to the genosian [ Ikvizi }in the cage just outside Kashykk space port.
{WP -514 -207} he will give you a mission to get his documents off the slaver reasearchers.
2/ goto the northen most slaver camp {press ctrl V and use the waypoints} there are a few listed.
3/ kill 8 researchers inside the camp, 4 spawn justinside, opposite the entrancegate, kill em, they respawn quick, they are lvl 37.
4/ return to Ikvizi, converse with him, he will ask you to take the documents to Ovarra the wookie and clear his name.
5/ goto the large tree outside Kashykk SP, go up to 2nd lvl, run around to the back, youll see her there.
6/ converse with her, ask her if she was on the trial of the genosian Ikvizi and then continue the conversation.
7/goback to Ikvizi and converse, he will give thanks and tell you there is a reward for you in his old genosian lab on yavin 4.
8/ travel to Yavin 4, goto the Labor Outpost, and then goto waypoint -6500 -400. leave your bike out as close to cave entrance as you can, if nobody is just inside grinding watch for agro.
9/ this is where the fun starts, either get a group and fight your way down into the cave or run down like i did.
I was buffed, there was a jedi at top killing geo's, so i got past em without trouble, ran down to the bottom pulling agro, entered, examined mag seal container.
10/ its the first door straight ahead at the bottom, type in door code 32281, the mag seal container is just inside door to the left infront of console.
11/ at this point i healed my self, turned, and went out door and hit burst run, i ran to the top, healed again, jumped on bike and was gone 
12/ the Bolotaur mount is in your inventory, congrats 
no need to speak with the genosian again, your finished.

I got mine solo by burst running all the way down to the door. Iused the health crystal from the FS village, as well as doc buff and foods to get my health up to about 5500 and used a stimpack macro once my health got down to half. When I got to the door I entered the code, ran in and opened the container on the floor to the left. About 5 seconds later the Droideka ran in the room and incapped me then DB'd me for a free ride back to civilization. Don't forget to dump anything you dont want to decay in your house of safety deposit box.

I tried burst running down as well, but the Kwis were bugged when I got there. Looked like there was only one, but as soon as I got close, they scattered and there were actually about 20 of them standing in that spot. I didnt even actually get to the Kwis - about 5m before them, I just dropped straight to the ground and got the "You've been slain by a Kwi" message.
Fun stuff.

I actually made it to the keypad and hit enter when the kwis (who had already hit me from full to half health) caught up with me and finished what they started. That spawn is extremely retarded....

just need to get to the door. forget the code. you can scroll out, target the box, and press use to get your bolotaur. all while dead. arent we lucky? :>

I tried this, but said I was out of range... so I used my rez ring and got it. Sneaky Sneaky.

I tried this afternoon, burst-ran past the crazed geonosians easy enough, til I ran into the bugged Kwi spawn and got killed by 17 Kwis stuck in the same spot. Oh well, maybe I'll get a whole group to go...(of course, it will take a while to organize, drive there, and probably get all 8 of us killed at the spawn...)

GREAT NEWS!
I found out that if you die in the doorway (Just burst run straight to the door and die) you can still grab the mount. I was dead in the doorway, brought the radial up on the magnaseal container, and selected use (I was a corpse for at least 10 seconds at this point) and I completed the mission and got the mount.
Just to help all those out that died when they were so close...
