Thread: First time in CU...why do I only get 1 pt of XP for everything I kill?
because the game is stupid, only way you will get xp is if you kill something level 58 and above, with 10% being taken off for each level below you. So if you get 5000 xp for a level 68 mob, level 67 would be 4500, 66 would be 4000 and so on.
I think that is a bit harsh because even if you are level 80, and something comes after you that is level 70, it still takes a while to kill it and if 2 come after you, you can die, yet you get no xp at all. So basically, unless you are harvesting meat then the best thing to do is run away if anything is more than 5 below you.

If the game is stupid, why do you play? What most people fail to see is that grinding goes 10 times faster now in groups, so the devs have actually made it easier to finish a template. I'm tired of people saying "but I like to hunt solo" when nobody in their right mind would want to grind solo versus doing it faster in a group. Nothing stops you from playing solo after yer template is done.
Seriously, game is much better with the CURB than without, and I think people are slowly realizing that while there are remaining balance issues (which are being addressed, and yes, I believe they are), that it will be some sweet in a few months.
Sorry for the rant, just tired of complainers. (not saying you are Staveeno, but just in general)

I was just referring to the fact that it can take around a minute or moreto kill something but you get no xp from it, If you get no xp then it shouldn't take more than a few seconds to kill it. I'm always out in the wild, I'm not grinding at all anymore but I just kind of don't like the fact that you get jumped by creatures all the time, You can either just run from everything you see or just stand and fight and get you 1 XP point after about 5 min or so fending off the creatures that jumped you. I think they should reduce the deduction to 5% for each skill point below you.
