The grevious ship is cheap because it's easy to get since it's a loot drop when u kill him in the mythril caverns. He drops it everytime he dies along with a cyber arm and a weapon of some type. The firespray on the other had is not crafted at all but is made when u successfully gather 10 disks to create the deed for it. The only way to get these disks is to RE looted ship components from space, and it takes hundreds apon hundreds of components to get these 10 disks.
wrong, partially, the firespray is crafted, the disks only give you the schematic, the disks are very rare, ive REd thousands of peices of kuat components and only came up with 1 complete set of 8 disks, and the amount of resources it takes to craft it is horrendous, just like any of the other master level ships. that is why it is so expensive.
the KSE is only craftable from a limited schmatic that takes many many many many loots to get as the disks only come from rengineering ship parts. it takes 8 disks but its not any old 8 disk each disk has a number 1/8 2/8 3/8 ect and you have to get the right 8 disks to get one schematic and that gives you 3-6 KSEs you can make.
The greivous is a loot drop and it drops every time he is killed.
Like any thing else its supply and demand.
Referring to your question of what ship to use, well... in PvP it would be a HUGE target from behind with limited maneuverability and as far as PvE is concerned... The Rebel Advanced X-Wing will fly better and have sufficient mass while a neutral Krayt has similar mass and capabilities to the Firespray at a fraction of the cost. The only advantage of the Firespray I could see is the possibility of loading two missiles if you prefer those, while the other mentioned ships can pack three guns.
Maybe consider the Firespray more like a rare trophy if you already have your super-maneuverable Bellbulab with godlike components for PvP and other PvE-Ships depending on your faction. The Firespray was introduced long before all those new (and mostly better) ships became available with the Combat Upgrade / Expansion, it's more like a relic, beautiful in it's own weird way but of questionable usefulness.
The other thing to keep in mind is that the mass on the Belbullab is only 90k (I think...), like the JSF. It takes some work to find the right components to load out the ship properly. Realistically, very few pilots have the time, interest, or budget to get enough high-quality, low-mass components to load it.
I think the constantly increasing availability of the deeds andthe difficulty in putting a good finished ship together will create an ever-falling price on it.
It's also far too easy to kill Necrosis. People keep throwing groups of Jedi at this thing but a guildmate and I killed it without any jedi skills, just the two of us.
