Thread: So you want a cybernetic arm, eh?

I just got mine =) If you want to know how to get your very own read on below. I'm not going to into total specifics on each quest as that ruins the fun of exploring. But I will give you a general Idea of what to do.
First you must get into the caverns. To do this you must first venture into the Dead Forest, its a POI. The Caverns are at the very north west area, if you look at your map you can see a road heading strait to the doors across the river to the north west.
Once inside venture down down down to the underground village. You'll notice no one wants to talk to you =P But you need to talk to everyone, and eventually you will be told to seek out a wookie at the entrance to the village.Follow the villagers' advice and find the Patrol Leader (Hint: She is standing with a few other wookies right at the entrance to the village part of the caves). She will give a easy quest, do it and return to her. She will then tell you to talk to her friend (Who is right next to her basically) another easy quest.
Next we talk to someone else (Forget the name) but she is just inside the village at the cantina section. She sends you to get gather some flower necter (Big Purple flowers in the first part of the caves with all the annoying bugs). She then tells you to talk to the wookie next to her, who tells you she lost her Jewelry box =( Now this was annoying to find XD.
If you want to find it yourself, skip this paragraph. The box is on the bride that leads to the part of the caves with CL 75 Monsters. Grab it and give it to the Wookie. You can now talk to the Chief! Yay! He will thank you, give you a quest that you probably can't solo, ignore it for now, and tell you to talk to more villigers for more quests.
Unfortunatly, the doctor still hates your guts (BAH), so the next best thing to a doctor? A nurse! Find Yraka Nes, she will give you a series of quests. Not to hard, but kinda annoying to travel to. Note that the spiders are found due east of the caverns in the forest.
Once she is happy with you, she will tell you to go see the doctor, YAY! Go talk to him. Again unfortunatly he lost all his equipment, moron...
Sigh back to the forest you go to find it. First you need to fin the little group of Stormtroopers, now not to ruin it, they are around the middle of the forest near the river. Near them you will find a crate which you can 'Use'. Do so and it updates your quest log. It now tells you the equipment can be found at the end of the river.
The base is right at the south west part of the map, just follow the beach north around then south all the way to the river's end and you will find a camp guarded by some angry guys. Take them out and search for the equipment. Take note that there are lots of supply crates that you can 'Use' (Gave me nothing) YOU on the other hand are looking for a box of equipment to 'Use'. (Hint: its a little box on top of a big crate). Grabe and run back to the doctor. Almost Done!
He will be so happy that you will give you the crappy rusty arm for free! Huzzah! Run to the nearest Medical Center (I chose Theed) and head up stars to find the cybernetics doctor. She/he will put it on for you =)
I'm not sure if all the arms are random stats, but mind gave me ranged accuracy and a super over shot skill... Even though I have 0 ranged proffs =P
Also make sure you remove all clothing, armour and weapons before you talk to the cybernetics guy are she tells you to unequip everything.
Grazt on your new mechanical arm! Hmmm a wrist that never gets tired... XD

I did another mission and also got the same arm, this one starts with a rodian in the bestine cantina that has cybernetic legs and right arm. He asks you to hunt some things, its pretty self-explanatory.
The issue is it seems that i got the same arm you did, a rusty looking one with ranged mods and negative melee mods, but im a swordsman, so are there any other arms out there or are melee proffesions getting passed over again in favor of BH's?

I did the 2 hunting msns for the rodian and got only a clone war picture. How did you get the cybernatic arm?

keep talking to him. when he gave you the painting, he says come back when you are ready for a real fight or something along those lines. really gotta read the txt now and watch the quest journal.
to the guy who finished it already, where did you find the sawtooth thingie you have to kill at the end? i wandered the dead forest and the spider cave and didnt find it

Nope, it gets put back in your inventory. I have a total of 6 different cybernetic arms now

for the jewelery box from the cantina chick in the caves, where/how do you get to the bridge? i can't find it.
