What POIs actually work? Is there a list? Like many people, I have a job, so I can't go to alot of places on server boot. I've tried going to a few POIs at night after doing the stand-in-line buff routine, and after 2 hours of pointless waiting/ travel, the borgle cave and torton caves were both barren. I think Fort Tusken spawns all day long?
I'm not after uber-loot. I just want to go somewhere to shoot stuff and explore. I'm sorta new to the game, I haven't seen alot of places, but wasting time/credits for empty dungeons is hardly worth my real money.
What POIs spawn around the clock? what ones don't? Please help a fellow gamer save some time and credits. Thanks.

I truly hate to sound all negative and such, but I'd say just give up on SWG. I did for similar reasons.From the point ofviewof this being for the casual gamer, SWG is a failure (many of the truths we believe in depend greatly on our own point of view).
There are so many high quality Star Wars games out (i.e. KotOR and Battlefront, NOT SWG) now and coming out (KotOR 2, Republic Commando, the Episode III game), that there is simply no reason to drive yourself crazy trying to play this POS that SOE has produced.
Maybe you're still having fun? It doesn't sound like it to me. I hope you are having fun. And if you are, stick with it. Any magic that this game might have had for me (and that is minimal at best) is long gone. I love STAR WARS, but I hate SWG.

thanks for the reply. I do find the game funner than I did last time I tried it, mostly because my friends who stayed had more loot to share and get me going this time
. I'm actually here for JtL. However, there are other elements of the game I truly enjoy, like building a toon and having him endure. Battlefront is boring after half an hour, kotor was alright but slow, and frankly kinda lonely since it's only single player (no l33t crap though lol).

I only hated XvT because it ran like crap on that stupid MS gaming zone.
My biggest complaint/ rant is the complete and utter lack of support/ documentation. Learning this game is a chore, which is really why I'm asking this question here, to save some amount of time I hope.

From most reports, right now no POI spawn really works. The devs are working on it (I think Tiggs has a thread asking for bug reports somewhere in the"In Live" forum), but no ETA.
I've come across a couple caves where something spawns, but it's never much. I did Jenkin's mission on Lok, and there were a few pirates and armsmen spawning in the droid cave. And 8-10 mobs were spawned in the Giant Fynock cave on Talus when I swung by doing a harvester run. They were all blue or white cons (and I'm just novice Pistoleer+ some CH grouped with a CL 16 pet). I've never been in either one before, so I can't say for sure, but there was definitely a lack of "big guns" in both locations. I was probably just seeing some "perma-spawn" low-level stuff.

Very few POIs are working correctly at the moment. As you say Tuskan is one, as is the cave for the Hero of Tat quests but you will most likely find them camped & just annoying as they are the few working ones.
Sad fact is that presently you are probably limited to doing some of the higher level 'dungeons' such as the Corvette, The Warren and Maybe Death Watch Bunker for 'adventure + exploring'. I would mention the Geo Labs but they usually contain the entire server's jedi population.
