Im on the trail, cant find him, can anyone pin point him for me?

The sons body can be found on the small trail opposite the entrance before you go in to the trail. Read the device on the ground next to him and that'll get you back on track.

any idea where to find the other guy that is suppose to be on the trail.

3rd lv of the trails down the right side before you get to the camp of NPC

There is a bug with the NPC your supposed to hunt down and kill, sometimes he can fall through the canopy and become invisible to you. This coupled with the fact that he's got a slow respawn and a one per instance rule means you might have a difficult time finding him.
