So i'm doing the mission to get the heavy X-Wing, and I've killed off all the fighters, and I go to hit the Corvette and it does NO damage what so ever. Is anyone else getting this? My guns are not weak, and I could see if maybe I was weakening it slowly, but i'm not hurting it at all. Any help?

something MUST be wrong with you, as I did the Heavy X-wing with a guildie, and I did get it (disabled it ~5.5km from rebel station)

Which componets are you targeting?

Are you using missles or guns?

If guns are you actually hitting the target area?

Just in case you weren't aware...

When attacking a corvette, when you target each componant with '[' or ']', you actually have
to shoot the componant itself.

Ie. If you're aiming for turret #5, your lasers actually have to hit turret #5.

Scattering laser fire across the ship won't net you much, if any, damage.

For this particular corvette I believe missiles are very handy. You can fly in behind her engines
and fire off missiles as each componant.

Position yourself behind the engines of the un-aggroed Vette and use space bombs to take out the 2 shield generators. After that, target the engines with your guns. Be sure to do this close to the exit WP and WAIT FOR THE VETTE TO COME UNDER CONTROL OF THE CREW (I can't tell you how many times I got whacked by poking my head up too soon).

After that - it's the escort mission from hell.
