how is this figured, I am making an alt master chef and want to know what to get for this to make great food.

As far as I know you need 10 "suit exp points" to get 1 experiment point when crafting. I believe the max is 20 suit exp points for 2 crafting experiment points.

Yes, exactly what he said, you get one ACTUAL point of experimentation per 10 points of exp. from attachments.

Technically all skill mods cap out at +25, but since you do not get .5 experiment points 20 is the soft cap for crafters

to add 2 things:


first remember you can get a +3 to experiment with a chefs apron, so a +17 tape is nearly as valuable as a +20.


second, i have heard that higher experimentation adds to your crafting, so that a +25 will give better results then a +20, although i am not sure about this, and even if it is true, it is not a huge difference.

i thought the chef's apron was +5, i could be wrong though

pretty sure it is +3 experimentation, +5 assembly. (and the weapon/tailor ones add +5 repair if memory serves.) could be wrong havent been a tailor since pub 9.
