Thread: Rifle crawl speed?

hi i looted a attachment Rifle crawl speed + 5
ive seen many of these but what do they actually do? is it just a terrain negotian but only when crawling with a rifle?
I know that when i was a master Ranger i could crawl as fast as someone walking normally?

That was an old rifleman skill, but it was taken out of the game because the devs couldn't get it to work.

Is this mod still working in the game, if applied from AA/CA's? I'm MRM and I crawl very slowly, just wondering how I can boost this (e.g. when in cover).

Tomed, what's your net total Terr Neg stat?

Btw i found an interesting way to stack this even more beyond the BE clothes, Scout skills and tapes... i found an NS lance on a vendor with +25 terr neg and if I equip that it gives an add'l boost. Switching from the NS lance to the rifle causes a stand up, go prone again animation (but not the other way around, curiously, switching to NS lance), but that doesn't break cover so it doesn't really matter, just (another) borked animation.

Yyrkoon you should have the TN from BH but you will still be slow at crawling to your mark. Find a SL with the TN tree and group with them. You will see the difference. But I have a good idea why you are asking this and all I can tell you is start to crawl from 260M out or they will see you. The SL range is only 150M. Trust me I have crawled for hours on end on Tat. I have more sand in my shorts than I care to think about. If a Crawl Speed tape ever starts to work in the game I will be the first one to bid on it.

I don't have any problems with it. I can crawl about the same speed as I walk.

it is a stat that has never worked. only terrain negotiation affects crawl speed.
0-50 affects how fast you go up hills.
51-100+ affects how fast you crawl and swim.

Not sure, (I post from work usually...) but I'm a Master Ranger, so it's capped (whatever the cap is...).
