Thread: Have the Devs ever explained Ben's hut?

Just went out there yesterday -- kept hoping to come across some sort of quest or mission or other in-game reason to go out there, but finally shrugged my shoulders and pulled its waypointup.


Anyway, what's with not being able to enter? From searching the forums, it seems like it's always been that way... but why??? Is it a bug? Is it intentional? Have the Devs ever explained the reasoning behind this?
