Thread: Need peace to speak to prisoners on Vette?

Was contemplating doing the Rescue mission and was wondering do I need to be at peace to speak with the prisoners? I know there is a 3PO unit I cannot speak with unless I am peaced where you go thru the electricity to turn the elevators on, so I was a little worried about the prisoners being the same way.

Yes you need to be at peace to talk to the prisoners. Heres a way around it.
If you are doing it solo, and have the hero ring, get killed in the prisoner room, and self-rez with the ring.
There might be other ways to do it, but thats the easiest i can think of right now.

Go with a friend. when you're in the priz room, have him incap you. You can now talk to prisoners

You don't have to die, just get incapped. If you take the elevator up to the prisoner level, and stand inside or just outside the elevator, the troopers below you can still hit you and incap you, but (as far as I know) can't death-blow. Then just walk to the prisoner's room and talk to him. Have to avoid getting attacked by any troopers on that level or take them out before you do the incap thing.
