Forgive me for sounding so green but I still am to alot of things in swg. DoI have to go out and buythe game and expansion pack(s) all over to have an alt? Does SOE actually expect me to spend another $40 in addition to the fee for subscription? this is the first time I've considered doin it and I would like to know what I need to do. Any and all info is deeply appreciated. Thank you.

just buy a new cd key for approx $20, but if you want JTL you will need to buy it again

certain online shops sells them. Like i got a JTL key from a online shop and just downloaded all the needed files with launchpad

The Game and JTL are $40 together. Itsamazing the greed of these large companies. That they actually want you to pay thembeforeyou give them more money. I guess I will have to wait until I can get to Jedi. Shame on SOE and bad business on their part, because of their grasp for an extra $40 they now miss out on an account prepaid for a year in advance. Thank you all for your input.

This character (Ackira) is a new alt of mine. Through Ackira I plan to be able to experience lots more content in SWG without giving up some things I love about my main character. Though my main character I will be sure to explore the JTL and ROTW content thoroughly and leave the non-expansion content to Ackira.

So far, this seems like a good plan to me. We'll see how this works out.
